Love the fabric!
"Love the fabric, very breathable in the Southern California heatwave and has not pilled at all!"
Made with our new 100% Everyday Hemp! This fabric is the one we've been dreaming up for a while. Incredibly soft, super breathable, and made entirely from hemp. Thanks to a special finishing process, the naturally strong hemp fibers are transformed into something that feels just like your favorite broken-in tee from the very first wear.
Women should typically size down, but fit is best determined by referencing the size chart. 'Men's Sizing' indicates sizing based on standard garment manufacturing terms, and is not meant to suggest gender identity.
The finished garment is washed in color, rather than dying the fabric prior to cutting and sewing. This results in subtle variations of color and a softer texture. Washed White is not garment-dyed.
Hemp will take good care of you, especially if you take good care of it. Below are some suggested tips for taking the best care of your hemp.

Hemp is a naturally strong, durable fiber, which is why we use it to make clothing you'll wear for years. It's also a remarkable crop: in the right conditions, it grows with relatively little irrigation and fewer chemical inputs than cotton.
The facts:
Stronger fiber than cotton. In a peer-reviewed comparison, hemp fibers measured 310–850 MPa in tensile strength, compared with 287–597 MPa for cotton. [BioResources, NC State University]
Resists pilling and wear. In 2025 lab testing of woven bast-fiber fabrics, hemp earned the highest pilling-resistance rating of the fabrics tested, holding up across repeated wear cycles. [Fibres & Textiles in Eastern Europe, 2025]
Uses less water. Hemp uses about 38% less water than cotton over a growing season, and its water footprint is roughly 60% lower. [Journal of Agrometeorology, 2023; Journal of Cannabis Research, 2025]
Needs fewer pesticides than cotton. Cotton is one of the most pesticide-intensive US field crops, with 42 million pounds applied across 10.3 million acres in 2021. Hemp is typically grown with substantially less pesticide input. [USDA data via Organic Trade Association]
Captures carbon as it grows. Published estimates put hemp's CO₂ uptake at roughly 3–15 tonnes per hectare during cultivation. At the higher end, that outpaces the 2–6 tonnes per hectare per year typical of forests. [Portland State University review; University of Cambridge research]
Can help clean soil. Hemp roots can absorb low levels of heavy metals such as cadmium, lead, and zinc from soil. This process is called phytoremediation. [Portland State University review]
Facts refer to hemp fiber and cultivation. Many of our garments are hemp–organic cotton blends.

"Perfect everyday tee! It’s not super thick but perfect amount of slouchy and soft! I have been looking for the perfect white tee and I finally found it:)"
"Love the feel and cut of this tee. Will be buying in the white when it’s back in stock"
"I absolutely love the weight of the Vernon tee, but I live in Hawaii and it’s a little thick for warmer weather. The buckeye is the same cut and made from 100% hemp. The new ‘everyday hemp’ fabric isn’t as nubby and rustic and the 10 oz jersey ( which I also love). Instead it’s super airy, sleek and almost has a sheen to it. It almost feels like wearing nothing at all. I do notice the collar loses shape quickly, but it’s not a huge deal. I’m hoping it holds up well as it is a thinner material, but so far I love it!"
"Absolutely love this shirt! It’s a great oversized shirt with a beautiful drape. Jungmaven really created the best fabric ever with the Everyday 100% Hemp! It’s thin, airy, feels great on your skin. It’s the kind of shirt that will continue to look great with age and wear. I bought like 6 of them. I got the XXL and XL, both fit great, I wanted a super oversized fit. Great for summer, feels substantial yet so light at the same time"
"This tee is perfection. Nice and cool for hot summer days thanks to the hemp. It also drapes beautifully. Obsessed."
"I wanted a relaxed oversized fit, I’m 4’11”, so I ordered a size small and I LOVE it. It’s sheer so the oversized fit drapes beautifully without being cumbersome. I will probably order the XS too"
"Maybe a bit bigger than I expected, but feels good and handles heat well."
"This is the Jungmaven shirt I’ve been dreaming of! I wear the heck out of my Vernons and Index tees, but always wished there was something combining both—a lightweight Vernon or cropped Index. This is all that and more. The fabric is so lightweight and drapey (though some folks might find it a tiny bit clingy depending on their preference) and is the perfect length to keep untucked without looking sloppy or getting overwhelmed with fabric. In short, highly recommend you give the Buckeye a try!"
"Love the shirt. The fabric is heavy and drapes well down my body, but is also somehow light and breathable. Immediately became one of my favorite shirts."
