Super! Nice weight and fit.
"Super! Nice weight and fit."
Made from a breathable hemp pique fabric featuring a subtle cross-tuck texture for a structured yet lightweight feel. Elevated, versatile, and easy to wear. This style runs a little smaller than average, size up if in question.
Women should typically size down, but fit is best determined by referencing the size chart. 'Men's Sizing' indicates sizing based on standard garment manufacturing terms, and is not meant to suggest gender identity.
The finished garment is washed in color, rather than dying the fabric prior to cutting and sewing. This results in subtle variations of color and a softer texture. Washed White is not garment-dyed.
Hemp will take good care of you, especially if you take good care of it. Below are some suggested tips for taking the best care of your hemp.

Hemp is a naturally strong, durable fiber, which is why we use it to make clothing you'll wear for years. It's also a remarkable crop: in the right conditions, it grows with relatively little irrigation and fewer chemical inputs than cotton.
The facts:
Stronger fiber than cotton. In a peer-reviewed comparison, hemp fibers measured 310–850 MPa in tensile strength, compared with 287–597 MPa for cotton. [BioResources, NC State University]
Resists pilling and wear. In 2025 lab testing of woven bast-fiber fabrics, hemp earned the highest pilling-resistance rating of the fabrics tested, holding up across repeated wear cycles. [Fibres & Textiles in Eastern Europe, 2025]
Uses less water. Hemp uses about 38% less water than cotton over a growing season, and its water footprint is roughly 60% lower. [Journal of Agrometeorology, 2023; Journal of Cannabis Research, 2025]
Needs fewer pesticides than cotton. Cotton is one of the most pesticide-intensive US field crops, with 42 million pounds applied across 10.3 million acres in 2021. Hemp is typically grown with substantially less pesticide input. [USDA data via Organic Trade Association]
Captures carbon as it grows. Published estimates put hemp's CO₂ uptake at roughly 3–15 tonnes per hectare during cultivation. At the higher end, that outpaces the 2–6 tonnes per hectare per year typical of forests. [Portland State University review; University of Cambridge research]
Can help clean soil. Hemp roots can absorb low levels of heavy metals such as cadmium, lead, and zinc from soil. This process is called phytoremediation. [Portland State University review]
Facts refer to hemp fiber and cultivation. Many of our garments are hemp–organic cotton blends.

"Just a 'different' kind of shirt (in a great way!). Soft, good feel against your skin & breathable. My only neutral comment would be the price. . . Yikes, a tad expensive, but on balance good value. The future of 'healthy' clothes if there is such a thing :)"
"One of my favorite styles from Jungmaven. A shade lighter than the California makes it the perfect thing to throw on for a walk in the evening– I wear it several times a week! Only feedback is for some reason this is one of the only items that doesn’t have sizing posted on the site. Glad I sized up- normally an XS but got a S and it is perfect"
"Love this shirt and the color! Unfortunately it was a little on the small side."
"Shirt looks great. Beautiful color. The sleeves seem a little shorter than some other long sleeve shirts."
