Zephyr Sweatshirt
Zephyr Sweatshirt
Putting this sweatshirt on feels like soft western breezes that blow warm, easy light across the hills. The classic cut is built from a soft and breathable hemp + wool blend. Hemp and wool are both natural fibers, making them a perfect duo. The temperature-regulating blend wicks away moisture to keep you dry and comfortable.

Men's Sizing
Women should typically size down, but fit is best determined by referencing the size chart. 'Men's Sizing' indicates sizing based on standard garment manufacturing terms, and is not meant to suggest gender identity.

Garment Dyed
The finished garment is washed in color, rather than dying the fabric prior to cutting and sewing. This results in subtle variations of color and a softer texture. Washed White is not garment-dyed.

Why Hemp
Why Hemp
Hemp is a naturally strong, durable fiber, which is why we use it to make clothing you'll wear for years. It's also a remarkable crop: in the right conditions, it grows with relatively little irrigation and fewer chemical inputs than cotton.
The facts:
-
Stronger fiber than cotton. In a peer-reviewed comparison, hemp fibers measured 310–850 MPa in tensile strength, compared with 287–597 MPa for cotton. [BioResources, NC State University]
-
Resists pilling and wear. In 2025 lab testing of woven bast-fiber fabrics, hemp earned the highest pilling-resistance rating of the fabrics tested, holding up across repeated wear cycles. [Fibres & Textiles in Eastern Europe, 2025]
-
Uses less water. Hemp uses about 38% less water than cotton over a growing season, and its water footprint is roughly 60% lower. [Journal of Agrometeorology, 2023; Journal of Cannabis Research, 2025]
-
Needs fewer pesticides than cotton. Cotton is one of the most pesticide-intensive US field crops, with 42 million pounds applied across 10.3 million acres in 2021. Hemp is typically grown with substantially less pesticide input. [USDA data via Organic Trade Association]
-
Captures carbon as it grows. Published estimates put hemp's CO₂ uptake at roughly 3–15 tonnes per hectare during cultivation. At the higher end, that outpaces the 2–6 tonnes per hectare per year typical of forests. [Portland State University review; University of Cambridge research]
-
Can help clean soil. Hemp roots can absorb low levels of heavy metals such as cadmium, lead, and zinc from soil. This process is called phytoremediation. [Portland State University review]
Facts refer to hemp fiber and cultivation. Many of our garments are hemp–organic cotton blends.

Recommend
"This was my first experience with the brand, and I really like this. Super casual but kind of hefty fabric- wasn't sure how the wool/hemp was going to play out but it works. The interior has a nice brushed texture and the exterior is more rugged/durable feeling. Fit is slightly relaxed for me in the body at 200Lbs, but just right for the chest/arms. Kind of a brilliant idea for the blend imo, and I'm super happy with it overall."
Good sweatshirt, not for me
"This is a warm, fuzzy sweatshirt. The sizing is as expected: 175lb, 6'0", medium fit fine, perhaps not super flattering. I really like Jungmaven's hemp products and I like wool; this was too warm for my needs"
Favorite sweatshirt
"My favorite sweatshirt. Fits perfectly. I’m 5’11, 190 lbs, average build. I own both XL and XXL and I’m happy with both. I washed the XXL on hot and dried on hot to shrink it down a little, which worked perfectly for me."
Great mid sweater
"Lays super nicely and is the perfect medium thickness. Bought for my boyfriend and he loves it. Great over a t-shirt."
"Awesome sweater, love the high quality material"
Perfect
"I got this for my boyfriend for Christmas, and we both LOVE it. I already ordered him another in a different color, and might not stop there. It fits him perfectly, is a great Winter weight, and he says he loves how it feels. I love hugging him in it."
Upscale Cool Weather Sweatshirt
"Love the wool-hemp blend--light and warm at once, and an upgrade from casual sweats."
Second Skin
"Incredibly comfortable and cozy, I'll be getting another"
Super warm and comfortable
"I'm 5'6. 5" woman 145 lbs. It's perfect for a relaxed fit."
