  • Women's Sizing

Men should typically size up, but fit is best determined by referencing the size chart. 'Women's Sizing' indicates sizing based on standard garment manufacturing terms, and is not meant to suggest gender identity.

  • 55 Hemp/45 Organic Cotton - Jersey
  • 5 oz
  • Garment Dyed

The finished garment is washed in color, rather than dying the fabric prior to cutting and sewing. This results in subtle variations of color and a softer texture. Washed White is not garment-dyed.

Details

  • V-neck tank with diagonal stitching
  • Lightweight 5 oz hemp jersey blend
  • Straight bottom hem

Hemp Fabric Care

Hemp will take good care of you, especially if you take good care of it. Below are some suggested tips for taking the best care of your hemp.

HEMP + ORGANIC COTTON BLENDS:

  • Machine wash cool, gentle with like colors.
  • Tumble dry, low heat.
  • Do not use spot laundry cleaners, bleach or other chemical and enzyme cleaners like oxi-clean.
  • Take care not to wash with garments with zippers or velcro or towels with texture as this will cause abrasion and pilling.

See more hemp fabric care tips here.

    HEMP +  WOOL BLENDS:

    • Follow the same instructions as above for Hemp + Organic Cotton blends, but be extra careful to only tumble dry on very cool settings. Laying flat to dry is the best way to maintain integrity of wool fibers.

    Why Hemp

Hemp is a naturally strong, durable fiber, which is why we use it to make clothing you'll wear for years. It's also a remarkable crop: in the right conditions, it grows with relatively little irrigation and fewer chemical inputs than cotton.

    The facts:

    1. Stronger fiber than cotton. In a peer-reviewed comparison, hemp fibers measured 310–850 MPa in tensile strength, compared with 287–597 MPa for cotton. [BioResources, NC State University]

    2. Resists pilling and wear. In 2025 lab testing of woven bast-fiber fabrics, hemp earned the highest pilling-resistance rating of the fabrics tested, holding up across repeated wear cycles. [Fibres & Textiles in Eastern Europe, 2025]

    3. Uses less water. Hemp uses about 38% less water than cotton over a growing season, and its water footprint is roughly 60% lower. [Journal of Agrometeorology, 2023; Journal of Cannabis Research, 2025]

    4. Needs fewer pesticides than cotton. Cotton is one of the most pesticide-intensive US field crops, with 42 million pounds applied across 10.3 million acres in 2021. Hemp is typically grown with substantially less pesticide input. [USDA data via Organic Trade Association]

    5. Captures carbon as it grows. Published estimates put hemp's CO₂ uptake at roughly 3–15 tonnes per hectare during cultivation. At the higher end, that outpaces the 2–6 tonnes per hectare per year typical of forests. [Portland State University review; University of Cambridge research]

    6. Can help clean soil. Hemp roots can absorb low levels of heavy metals such as cadmium, lead, and zinc from soil. This process is called phytoremediation. [Portland State University review]

Facts refer to hemp fiber and cultivation. Many of our garments are hemp–organic cotton blends.

"if you have larger ta tas this will not fit like the model pictures. normally wear a m, ordered a L which is not terrible but still not as flattering as I hoped. still amazing quality as always from this brand though"

    — Margaret P. (5/5)

    Weird seams and sizing

"The seams are is a weird place so I'll be wearing them in the back. . . Wish the fit was tight enough to work as an undershirt/bra"

    — J G. (2/5)

    Jack of all trades tank

"I have used this twice since recently getting it, once for hiking and another for work/going out with friends, and it proved to be comfortable and cute in both settings, I cannot recommend more! It also feels great to invest in a high quality, ethically made item. I look forward to many MANY more wears :)"

    — Natalie L. (5/5)

    — Arla S. (5/5)

    Recommend sizing up

"Material is beautiful as always. The piping detail hit a little awkwardly on the chest and exchanged for a bigger size. Customer service was very helpful, quick and easy process!"

    — Marguerite G. (4/5)

    Great fit

"Love the fit of this tank! Great length, texture, can dress it up or down."

    — Amy R. (5/5)

    Beautiful v neck

"Great v neck tank that skims the body but isn’t too tight! Love the length - not too cropped or too long - and the front and back v. The washed white color is a beautiful slightly creamy off-white. I took my usual size small and the fit is great. 32D for reference."

    — Bianca B. (5/5)

"I love every top I have purchased from Jungmaven! I love how the material falls, that they are durable, and the fit is consistent."

    — Sara (5/5)

    Great tank

"Flattering and soft, gorgeous color too. Runs just a touch on the large size - I’m usually a small/medium in Jungmaven women’s shirts and the small fit perfectly."

    — Riley S. (5/5)
